EMBARK ON A TRANSFORMATIVE JOURNEY OF HEALTHCARE ETHICS AT OUR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED 4-DAY INTENSIVE HEALTH ETHICS SEMINAR.

Designed to give participants new knowledge and tools to recognize and resolve ethical dilemmas, this event employs an interactive and case-based approach that will help you better navigate the complex landscape of health care ethics.

Drawing from the collective expertise of an interdisciplinary faculty and sessional speakers, this 4-day seminar will facilitate exploration of various perspectives involved in contemporary bioethical issues, encompassing patients, residents, families, practitioners, and societal considerations.

Fundamental health (clinical) ethics topics covered will include: respect for autonomy, capacity and informed consent, supporting choices when there are risks of harm, substitute decision making, involuntary treatment, health ethics and the law, end-of-life ethics and public health ethics.

Who should attend?

This seminar is open to anyone with an interest in health care ethics including clinicians, people interested in a career in health care or health care, students, and anyone else in the health care community who would like to deepen their understanding of clinical ethics and ethical decision making.
