Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our organization and contribute to our financial success.
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a vital role in our accounting activities, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation of financial data, as well as managing project accounting. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a talented team, designing, developing, and maintaining an internal control environment to safeguard data integrity.
What you'll be doing:
Completing tasks related to month, quarter, and year-end close activities within established timelines.
Processing accounts payable entries in accordance with Central 1 policies and applicable accounting standards, procedures, and thresholds
Reviewing accounts and investigating unusual balances or variances
Calculating, preparing, and analyzing assigned reconciliations
Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, AP billing, ledger maintenance, and vendor data management
Liaising with the different lines of business to ensure invoices are being captured within established timelines
Working in a dynamic environment with a focus on being agile to meet the growing and changing needs of stakeholders across the organization
Collaborating with management and cross-functional teams to identify problems and develop solutions
Approaching with curiosity and drive to optimize processes

What you'll have:
A related degree or diploma and 4+ years of progressive experience in the financial services industry
An interest in achieving a professional accounting designation (CPA),
Working knowledge of core financial systems – experience with Workday preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to be independent, self-motivated, efficient, and able to tackle competing priorities
Strong attention to detail and high standard of accuracy
Strong collaboration skills with a proven track record of conflict resolution and team-building.
Agility to accommodate a dynamic work environment
