Division 2 Environmental is a reputable hazmat abatement company with projects throughout Lower Mainland. We're currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead our hazmat abatement crew. As a Hazmat Abatement Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hazmat abatement process, from planning and scheduling to execution and safety compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of hazmat abatement workers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Develop comprehensive abatement plans and strategies for various hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead, mold, and more.
- Coordinate equipment and materials necessary for abatement projects.
- Conduct thorough site assessments to identify hazardous materials and assess risks.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure worker safety.
- Monitor work progress and quality to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Hazmat Abatement Foreman.
- In-depth knowledge of WorkSafeBC hazardous materials regulations.
- Asbestos Level 3 certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
