Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented individual to join the PBX team as a part-time Operator.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Answering incoming internal and external calls according to Hyatt standards and transferring them to the appropriate extensions.
Handling basic guest questions and complaints with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution
Preparing, sorting, and handling internal written and verbal communication for both guests and fellow associates
Recording and delivering wake up calls with 100% accuracy
Receiving, tracking and following up on all guest requests and dispatching requests to the appropriate departments
Handling emergency situations and dispatching emergency personnel
Candidate must be available to work flexible shifts including Graveyard, Weekends and Holidays. Starting wage for this position is $20.31 per hour, after 6 months wage is $23.70 per hour, after 1 year wage is $27.08 per hour.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous customer service or switchboard experience is preferred
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft office applications
Fluency in English and good verbal communication skills
Knowledge of a second language is an asset
Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Evening and Graveyard)
