SCARP Symposium

The theme of the 12th annual SCARP Symposium is (Re)Connecting Communities: People, places, and planners together. This theme focuses on connecting both physical communities and communities of practice to solve the interdisciplinary problems of planning together. Through the theme of (Re)Connection, we aim to break down the barriers of distance, jurisdiction, and discipline to explore each others' perspectives and draw connections between our shared problems. As the first SCARP Symposium in 5 years, we are also aiming to rekindle old relationships and discover new ones that are emerging in the post-lockdown world.
